BROOKLYN YOUTH SPORTS CLUB (BKYSC)Mission: To build an enriching educational setting for under-served Brooklyn youth, using athletics as a vehicle to inspire them to fulfill their academic, physical, and personal potential. BKYSC is driven by an ethical imperative to instill values of integrity, perseverance, self-esteem, and hard work to empower student-athletes to be leaders in school, on the court and in the community.
Brooklyn Youth Sports Club empowers Brooklyn's youth to exceed their potential by tapping into kids' passion for basketball to inspire excellence off the court and in the classroom. Their coaches and tutors focus on the individual needs of each one of their student athletes as they grow from Middle schoolers to high school graduates and beyond. When a child joins Brooklyn Youth Sports Club, he or she becomes a part of a community. Every child that has gone through our programs has graduated high school and enrolled in college. Maintaining that success is at the the core of BKYSC's mission. |
